A TRIBUTE

It makes me happy when it comes to my knowledge that my dear officemate is having in her womb a baby girl. Not that I am the father of such child but I am happy for her that she enjoins her Creator in the solemn task of creation. Well, it is an obligation that we all are task to undertake. Also, in this context I am obliged to tackle about motherhood.

The destiny of a child is the making of a mother as uttered by Napoleon Bonaparte. Well, this line makes sense to all the mothers out there not only as they are responsible for what will become of their children. Foremost, a tribute should be given to them as what will become of our future lies on their hands. From this context, a mother or would be mothers should know all the things that she is going to undertake just for her child.

Normally, it takes for a mother to bear a child in her womb nine months which other species do not have the capabilities for such undertaking. And during labor, one cannot also imagine all the pains that one should endure just to bring another creature out of this world. But all these would last only for one to two days. The more a mother should be respected for the rearing of her child as the latter grows up.

To my friend, what more can I say but it is a celebration of her humanity.

Most of us Filipino are saying that our country is in chaos. And oftentimes, we blame such condition to our leaders. Chaos in the sense that we are not organized and there are still lots of misfortunes that are present in the communities. And we are looking for somebody to blame for it, and it is the government that put all our blames.

I am thinking that our society is a large jig saw puzzle where each one of us is a piece. We, with our own differences, should contribute to our nation towards its building process. As a saying state, we are to think what can we do for our country and the country can do for us. This exemplifies that we are part and parcel of the government and it is us who can initiate transformation if we want to.

Our heroes have showed us what it means to be a good Filipino and it is in us to emulate such acts. If we are just standing on the street shouting what we think of, there would be no change that would happen to our nation. Change in our country should start in each one of us.
